Thumbs down G35 owners-Angry?

Sitting at the light a black g35 pulls up beside me, its a nice looking car not as nice as the Z though it looks like the Z's chubby bro in my opinion, anyway light goes green and he "zoom zoom's" off like he was owning me, why do g35 owners all do this? I really did'nt want to get into it on a 35mph residental street. But the way they drive when they see my Z its kinda angry like they thought they were the cool ride in town till I showed up and ruined their manhood, whats up with that. Chill out G owners..

redheaded stepchild syndrome

haha j/k i do know what you're talking about though...seems to be alot of g owners trying to prove their cars are better than the Z for some reason... like they have a chip on their shoulder about it.

bleh, the only advantage they have that I can say is a back seat but still I love my Z and would never trade it in for a G35. I wanted a performance car and I got what I paid for.

I think they DO have a chip, based on their behaviour whenever I seen them, like they have more HP than us. It must be the Infiniti snobbishness syndrome more like

i dont know about thinking they have more hp...but many do think their cars are faster than the z when you get to talking to them...especially for some reason the ones with automatics???

Here we go again - but remember this - when you have hp difference of 10 ponies - then you can bet there is going to be a good challenge - since it is very much drivers race till the 4th gear. I don't know why bash G owners just because you think your car is faster - so what - give them a fair race - see what happens.

To add to this - let me ask you - do you rev your engine when you stop on the light next to M3 BMW?

happened to me once too.......a G with NO license plate (new car). I was just cruising 45 mph, just when i was near the G, the G downshifted and jumped ahead...i was like "o........k........that was so...pointless"
and then the G slow down, i caught up and looked at him with a "what was that " face

Yea it was that kinda of thing, I mean its a nice looking car, unless their ignorant and dont know its basically the SAME car under the skin and think they have to prove something. I did'nt & would'nt waste my time but its just "people" I dont get.

Thats so funny cause it happened to me this weekend. There was a white G35 turning right onto the highway (4 lane) and he gives me a dirty look as I go by. I'm doing atleast 20 over the speed limit and he pulls out behind me and floors it. He eventually catches up and gets right next to me and tries to pull on me. Yea ok lets do an f-ing 60 roll with cars all infront of us. I also saw a blue Boxster that same day ... the woman in the passenger seat kept staring at my car lol.

Hey you all can go,...........nah just messin with ya. I respect you guys. I'd be more interested in checking out the Z next to me than planting the throttle. If I didn't have a family, I'd have a sunset track model, and that's a fact.

Its funny, because I've read a bunch of posts on how G35 owners are driving, minding their own businesses when somebody in a Z pulls up and tries to race. I'd put some examples but the search function on freshalloy is down.

I think both sides of the table have people who wonder what the few extra ponies really amount to. I personally don't. I feel like its such a shame that there's this kind of negative feeling. I go to 350z meets all the time with my G35 and whenever i see a 350z I give him a thumbs up. I feel brotherly pride. When someone insults a Z i feel like they're also insulting my G (we do run on simliar platforms and have the same, beautiful engine) -- theres really no beef.

I'm semi-guilty of this... ONLY once when two lanes merged in the near distance. This has happened once with a G at a stoplight. Of course I got the hole shot

After the lane opened up again, the G tore up the freeway... driver glaring at me.
