Z Stereo Install - Pics
Hey guys,
I finished the first stage of a basic install in my buddies 350Z. The results are fantastic concidering what a simple system it is.
Alpine Headunit (forget the model)
Infinity Kappa Components front and rear
Infinity Basslink
JBL P80.4
Hooker audio wiring throughout
more pics here: http://www-scf.usc.edu/~harman/Zstereo/
Check out the door spacers... if you guys are interested, I can make up a bunch more (I had to buy a 4' x 8' piece of MDF!!)
Let me know what you think... I'll try and get some more recent shots later in the week.
Dan

How is the Basslink?
How does the Basslink sound? Does it hit ok? I'm looking into buying one, especially because I'm not a big stereo freak and because I want something that hits, but nothing major. Does the basslink fit into storage area behind the driver's seat--where the factory bose sub was supposed to go? Thank you.

You should use plexi or ABS for your spacers. MDF is a wood sponge. It will distort, and expand when it gets wet, and it will get wet in your door. Just a suggestion.
