Default My Stereo Install with Pics

First off, thanks to Nazar for all of the deals on equipment. I bought all of the audio stuff in my signature from him (minus the box) for GREAT prices. The stuff was shipped in great packaging and everything was done in a timely manner. I would highly suggest that people buy from him!

The following posts will include pictures of my system.....Sorry in advance for the small size of the pictures.....I don't have a server to host on and the site only allows certain upload sizes....

First off, a picture of my hardwired Valentine 1. This runs through the rearview casing and down and around to the fuse box.

First pic of the head unit. Nazar or anyone else with experience, please see the next pic as well to see the gap around the head unit and the piece that my installer says won't fit and let me know what you think.

This is the piece that I want to fit. The installer says that because of the movement of the player when the disc is ejected, this won't fit.

First pic of the sub. It is completely removable (as can be seen in the following posts). The installer added a brushed aluminum front for a custom look.

Pic of the sub with side pieces removed.....You can see how the box can slip out under the strut bar if pushed backwards.

Sub with golf clubs - don't even have to take out the woods.

In case you're wondering.....No, it does not sound as good with the clubs where they are, but hey, they're a necessity!

One of those pics looks suspiciously like women's scanties....I'm wrong right?

Otherwise, nice install. Always good to have a removable sub box.

Not sure where you're referring to. In any case, you are wrong....Unfortunately.

Hmm, must be my overactive imagination.

Again, nice install. Good call on Nazar, he really does have some awesome prices.

Why did you pick the 10W3? I'm really just starting to learn about subs.....

One more pic of the head unit. Even closer so you can try to see the gap I'm talking about.

Well......My installer told me that a 10W0 couldnt handle the power that my amp had to offer to the sub. He said that the 10W3 would be the lowest that could handle this power (I think 250 watts?). Also, he said it would work very well in a small, enclosed box.

When going for my sub, I was going for a tight sounding bass. I don't like the bass that's unbelievably loud and just rattles everything on the block. Therefore, I went with just 1 10.

Furthermore, the MB Quart Fronts sound great, but they are VERY bright. Are there any settings I could use either on the amp or with the head unit so that I could try to tune down some of this brightness? If I'm listening to a song and either an instrument (like a sax) or a singer hits a high note, I have to turn down the volume real quick to keep from hurting my ears.

I wish I could help but I'm going to be in the same predicament as you as this is the headunit Nazar recommended for my system using that same dash kit. I will bring this to his attention but I don't plan on doing my install for at least a couple of months.

I would go back to the shop, Have them take a look at the kit and the radio again. There has been absolutely no problems with th edash kit and Alpine motorized deck installs.

It's been a while since I put it in. You need to ISO mount the deck and not use the cage.
