I found an airport that will allow us do conduct our racing!
The airport is roughly 80+ miles away, They have done this before.
The owner John is going to get back to me with the price. HE mentioned somthing about insurance as the most important factor.. couldn't really hear him but hes calling me back.
RUN WAY IS 3000 feet long 40 feet wide
Runway Width 40' Asphalt with 40' Grass on western side
Runway Length 3075'
THE INSURANCE POLICY HAS CLEARED!!!! THE COST FOR THE POLICY IS $2,550.00
GRAND TOTAL FOR THE WHOLE EVENT (AIRSTRIP RENTAL and INSURANCE) :$2,950.00
ALL THE PARTICIPANTS PLEASE SEND IN YOUR MONEY ASAP!

SPECTATORS:
The spectator price has changed again, since our first time around we didn't get that much response from spectators, the price is going back down to $20.00 a person IF THEY PAY BEFORE THE EVENT.
OR IT IS $30.00 DAY OF AT THE DOOR OF THE EVENT.

-For all participants, the event is starting a 2:00 P.M. THRUSDAY MAY 15th at Hendersonville Airport, address to airport on first page I advise being at the airport around 1:30 P.M..
-There will be no seating there, so bring portable chairs and such.
-YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE is your paypal confirmation, please print off and bring with you.
-For those that paid with checks, just have your driver's license on you.
Food: None will be provided, so it is up to the people
I believe Injected and Forged are both briniging their traliors down with supplies such as race gas and methanol as well as small parts.

Spectator help would consist of: Contorling the Staging area, making sure all of the waviers are signed and collected before anyone participates, and operating the main gate just till everyone arrives, and lastly collecting tickets from all the spectators.
Just to clarify, if we're signed up for the event, do we need to also sign up a passenger as a spectator? (The passenger driving with us - so no additional parking needed - but that person will be spectating, not in the car while racing). My recollection was that the restriction was for parking spots (not really spectating spots)...

I was hoping to be built by then but I have had other expenses I have had to take care of. Also, getting ready to start up my own business has taken quite a bit of my time. Next year for sure.
