Default Got a MREV2

Hey all, since Tony wants to be a jerk about this, lets do a test. I'm looking for people that bought an MREV2 from Tony or any other reseller. I want to do same non destructive testing on these. I will pay shipping both ways and you'll receive some good old green for your troubles. I need to put an end to this right now right here for all to see. Tony has accused me of selling fakes. :7: Tsk Tsk .

Now as you may or may not know the MREV2 I received from Intense Motorsports caused my engine to loose power. Now I'm going to prove that the claims Tony makes on his site are a complete LIE. He's been giving you a modded 03-04 lower plenum that what I will prove does little to NOTHING for your REV-UP motors. I just need some time to gather some MREV's.

Also, if you bought an MREV and found that you really didn't get what you hoped in the way of performance post up. I was told something from Tony that, looking back on it shows some flaws in his "Same day....... blah blah blah" testing of his spacer shoot out. But one thing at a time. Too bad Tony it's come to this.

This in no way is a shot at Intense Motorsports in any way, shape or form. Sorry guys.

you reference 2 different products in your post "MREV" and "MREV2"... I've seen Tony openly state the MREV is a pre revup lower collector... ... an MREV2 is a modified non-revup lower collector and I've seen it produce gains on a revup... so which product are you referencing?...

BTW, I have a similar version... a modified MREV2 on my non-rev up... with many other breather mods and tweaks and it actually leaned me out a bit (corrected with tune) so I know it's helping airflow...

tony's products have been tested over and over again by a lot of members here. and if indeed his clams where as good as tornado air, i am sure that we would already know about it.

I never picked up an MREV2 but I did find myself a used non-RevUp lower plenum (AKA MREV).

I'm not sure exactly what you're saying here RebelinRI? Are you saying that MREV2 does not have any gains over MREV?

OR

are you saying that MREV2 on a revup motor makes no gains?

OR

are you saying that neither the MREV nor the MREV2 on a revup motor should make gains?

thanks.

Repost.

Is this your best response to getting caught selling fake MREV2's?
Why havn't you already denied that you posted and sold fake product?
And you only bring this up after getting caught?

You won't be doing any testing. And even if you did, you are no longer credible.

There are countless independant dynos posted by many, many independant people all over these boards. By several well known tuners. Even by my competition. It has been tested independantly by Nissan North America and three (3) different magazines. Maybe you can argue with them.

But your diversion won't work.

You have been caught scamming and selling people poor quality counterfit MREV2's. You have posted scam threads all over G35driver and MY350Z. And you left a very large trail of evidence. Moderators are informed.

where's the proof of these being counterfeit?

where's the comparison of the fake one versus the real deal?

right now it sounds like just broad accusations.

Civic4982,

https://my350z.com/forum/intake/246327-mrev2-lower-plenum-moderator-note-rebelinri-fake-scam.html
The pictures shown here are absolute fakes.

There are many other threads started by RebelinRI with these pictures posted over at G35driver. But they have all been deleted by the Admin.

I am the manufacturer of the MREV2. I know what an MREV2 looks like and I know every specific detail.

Without divulging trade secrets, I have a very specific requirement on how MREV2's are to be made. My machinists b1tch at me because I am so stringent and particular on the details.

And these pictures of supposed MREV2's (linked above) clearly are not made by me or Motordyne.

The only thread that hasn't been deleted on G35driver is the thread where Citymunky got scammed.
http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192625

Citymunky has confirmed that he bought it from RebelinRI.

Tony, I know you are diplomatic about these kinds of things and don’t like to stir up (or perpetuate) trouble... but can you link the thread that started this?... (Edit: nevermind, I see links in posts - I hadn't read prior to posting this)

For others reading - I will go on record stating Tony and Motordyne = very stand up guy and operation... There aren't many in the industry that are as straightforward and honest about things. And this is coming from someone that has a different point of view than Tony on a completely different mod.

Tony is respectable and his products are proven - on my car and MANY others.

on this thread he even talked about refinishing some of it and stating that it was indeed a motordyne MREV2 with a few modifications.

Yes.

I know one of the pictures he posted was real. He may have even sold the real one. No problem with that.

But all the others...Fake.

Everyone,

I have been researching just about everything MREV2 related to RebelinRI for some time now. A lot of fake MREV2 pictures have been showing up all over the boards.

And yes, I already contacted Citymunky. He defenitly got scammed.

In my MREV2 search, I saw Citymunkys recent post about an install he did on the MREV2. It is absolutely clear from the pictures he posted that it was not a real MREV2.

So I sent him a PM asking where he got it. He replied RebelinRI sold it to him.
As you can tell, I am not happy with this situation at all.

This is the thread where Citymunky posted a WTB recently and RebelinRI sold him the fake MREV2.
http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=190194

This is the thread where I discovered that Citymunky installed the fake MREV2. I asked him where he got it and he said RebelinRI.
http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192625

The picture here is absolutely proof positive that it is not made by Motordyne. I do not make MREV2's like this.
http://g35driver.com/forums/attachme...5&d=1197604398
Its a fake.

Citymunky contacted RebelinRI about the fake MREV2 this morning and RebelinRI immediatly offered a full refund.

Please contact Citymunky for verifiction.

And please see these links for additional verification of RebelinRI intent. He is buying and/or inquiring the purchasing of a lot of lower plenums....

http://g35driver.com/forums/showthre...ighlight=lower
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=lower

I have been in contact with the Admin for over a week now. There are many many threads started by Rob (RebelinRI) that I would post as evidence but most have already been deleted by the Admin.

http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172362

http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=172362
http://g35driver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137314

There are many more in addition to this, but how much more is needed?

If you really want to know more about this whole thing, you can search RebelinRI's post history here and on driver to see. (At least the ones that havn't been deleted)

It wasn't untill he was caught that he comes up with this diversion about MREV'2s not working.

Besides, why would he be selling fakes of it if it was so bogus?

I got scammed by RebelinRI and I don't know how many others have been scammed by him too.

Either way, its not cool.
