Default Performance Factory: BUILT APS TT 585whp DYNO VID**

** ADDED MORE PICS ON PAGE 3 **

*** ADDED VIDEOS ON PAGE 18 ***

Great to finally be back on the road and making some impressive power. As many of you know of the 2 motors I've been through, (I wont bother to go into detail) this one finally is a keeper.

First I'll start off with what was used in this build:

-Pauter Billet Forged Rod Set 350Z w/ARP rod bolts
-Arias Zero Silicon AL EXTREME Duty Piston set 9.0:1
-Darton Mid Sleeve VQ35
-ARP VQ35 Main Stud Kit
-ARP ½ inch Head Studs
-HKS Head Gasket
-JWT C2 Camshafts (springs/shims)
-RC 1200cc Injectors
-APS Intake Plenum
-CJM Stage 2 Return Fuel System
-Koyo Radiator
-GTM Upgraded Cooling Fans
-HKS F-Con Vpro
-HKS EVC-6 Boost Controller
-HKS Knock AMP
-HKS Navigator
-Dual HKS SSQV BOV
-Forge RED Actuator Springs
-REV-UP Oil Pump
-HKS DLI
-Carbonetics Triple Disc Carbon Clutch 1350kg Pressure Plate (ATS)
-SS Teflon Clutch Line

I think I covered majority of the main components.

Tuning: Jeremy is just amazing at what he does and it was truly a pleasure to watch him tame this beast. From having my old setup with the UTEC, the FCON truly blows it away in aspects of tuning which I finally got to see in person.

It honestly took Jeremy 2 days to fully tune my car to where he felt it was acceptable. He still requested me to come by for some even more detail tuning on the street. But I have to say picking up the car tonight and driving it around, it drives extremely smooth.

On to the dyno's:

**All pulls done with 93 Octane**

Boost controller off on springs around 12 PSI:

13 PSI:

15 PSI:

17 PSI: **585whp 590ft/lbs**

All graphs overylayed:

All this could not be possible without the big help from AJ, he did a clean job installing the motor, gauges ect...

**DYNO VID: Right click, Save as.**

Dyno Video

On the street: 17PSI 3rd and 4th no traction, not to mention it was a little chilly out tonight so that didn't help, once i dug traction however it's SCARY fast how quick these turbos spool up and get going, honestly I haven't even ran through the power band yet I'm taking baby steps up there...

For future: In a the next couple of weeks we'll most likely do a C16 map to definitely dip into the 600's and see how much these turbos can take.

Heres a quick shot of the HKS goodies:

Tomorrow I'll snap a couple more pics and I'll defintely get some videos up by this weekend.

ITS GOOD TO BE BACK!

thanks !! its just crazy the amount of timing this car likes. at first i had the usual amount of safe timing to start with and the car was dying up top. i just kept messing with it and all i can say is WOW!!

this car has got to be one of the smoothest cars on the street too. a roll in from 2000 rpms is just nasty. almost full boost by 3700 rpms at 15-16 psi. its just crazy. we still have some big plans after everything gets a couple thousand miles on it. some C16 and 20-21 psi should get us close to 700. with this sleeved block, it will handle whatever we do!!

thanks for the write up chris!!

the new HKS EVC6 is the best boost controller out there , period. that thing holds EXACTLY what you tell it to no matter what. if you put 15.0 it holds 15.0 all the way across and doesnt move even .2 psi .

i have played with and tested every boost controller out there and this is the one i want in every car from here on out.

boost is rock solid with the red springs...

what are your feeling on the Blitz SBC? Everytime someone mentions the HKS EVC 6, it seems like someone mentions the Blitz unit as being the best. For me personally, I also went with the EVC6
