Default plenum or spacer?

hey guys ive searched and i have been around a while now. I know this is kinda a newb question, but i never see it discussed. Will a aftermarket plenum such as crawford, or aps, yield more horsepower then a md 5/16th spacer on a stock plenum? Has anybody ever compared the 2? I have a 06 and will be getting a mrev 2 at the same time so i was just wondering which would be the best for performance. Thanks guys dont flame too hard .

The gains will be very similar, you'll be saving a lot of money getting the spacer and it is basically just as good.

+1

The aftermarket plenums out right now are way overrated. A spacer will work great.

The results of the Sport Z magazine plenum vs plenum spacer shoot-out have never been discussed.
