Exclamation MS/LA Gulf Coast/Southern Region ZdayZ Caravan!

If anybody from Southern Mississippi or Louisiana is planning on going to ZdayZ at the Tail of the Dragon in May, let me know. On Thursday, May 17 there are a couple of us (so far) from MS that are driving up to Memphis to meet up with a crew of people coming from Arkansas and elsewhere. We'll meet in Hattiesburg at the I-59/Hwy 49 interchange at 6 am so that we can get to Memphis before 10 am.

If you're interested, let me know and I can fill you in on all of the details of the trip pertaining to our particular group (caravan, lodging, etc.). Just to let you know, we already have a Fireplace room reserved for May 17-20 with a Monday checkout. Room costs will be split between everybody who stays. I can PM you all the details if you're interested.

Last year there were 247 registered vehicles. Each year the registration has grown considerably, so 300+ Zs/Gs is likely for this year! Here are links to all of the pertinent info.

It's going to be a lot of fun. I hope to see you guys there!

The following list does not reflect the g35driver members who will make the trip. I'll periodically combine the lists to reflect the total number of people going.

I'll see if I can make it as well. I may be out of town on business though.

By the way. You do know that Memphis is way out of the way from Hattiesburg to the Tail of the Dragon.

Yes, but the I think it would be more fun to meet up with my friends in Memphis and have a good caravan rolling into the Gap. However, if we could get at least five folks to meet in Hattiesburg we could take the direct route to the Gap and meet up with the AK peeps there.

Once we get closer to the time and get a few more confirmations, we should be able to make a decision then.

I understand. I would definately be more fun to ride with other people. That's how it should be anyway, right? I just figured I would mention it because I looked at a map on mapquest and Memphis looked way out there off route.
