Please reveiw the following facts:

1. The Braille Batteries are rated at 360CCA and are guaranteed for one year with free replacement for that rating. The 350Z requires 360CCA to perform properly, hence a drop in performance from the bettery can leave you stranded. The other battery being mentioned is only rated at 200CCA which is not sufficient to power our cars. Why is this important? Manufacturers will only stand behind what they rate (sometimes they don't event do that). Hence, brand "D" is rated for non-automotive purposes and guarenteed to only perform a minimum of 200CCA for 90 Days. The Braille Battery is rated, tested and guaranteed for 360CCA for 365 Days! Also, brand "D" does not come with auto terminals, automotive application knowledge, nor customer service for our needs.

2. Many of us are educated enough to know that many of our products we purchase are manufactured by larger entities, possibly even overseas. In fact, many of us purchase items at retail locations, where we could possibly by the same product online for less - why? Because we value customer service and experience of the retailer. Same goes for manufacturers. They spend time testing, experimenting and refining a product so that they can offer guarantees of performance to their customer. Often these guarantees are validated by the brand selling the product, not the manufacture of the various pieces that make the product. This costs money and time. This time and risk comes at a cost to both the consumer and the brand selling the item.

Carefully weigh the risks when buying a product that appears to be a better value just because of a lower cost.

To sum it up: is a $50.00 savings (at most) worth the risk of being left with a product that will not work in your vehicle and has no guarantee that it will?

I dont know about that battery but the Oddysey PC680 battery is also around $80 or so and provides better CCA's than the Braille at a lower price.

That information is not totally accurate. Last I checked the PC680 had more CCA's ??? The Odyssey comes with 2 year warranty and the price is closer to $80. Shipping is free (Summit). In any case they compare pretty well imo.

Yes you are right the Odyssey does come with a 2yr warranty.....BUT it is not rated for automotive use. It is only for certain applications. A few of our customers have had first hand experience with this issue.
