Default Just Wanna Get Something Off My Chest!!! Lol...

This afternoon, I sat outside under my grandparents carport for about 2 1/2 hours washing my Z...getting it really nice and detailed...vaccuming her out...polishing the wheels, which takes for ever.....making my tires shine, the whole 9 yards!!! I even sat down and waxed my Z with some new 3M paste wax that my mom's store just got in!!! And that stuff works wonders!!! It is amazing!!! If anyone want's some, I can get a killer price on it...normally it is like $50, at my mom's price, I can get it for $12...that is a nice discount!!! Okay, back on topic....So after doing all of that, my Z was looking bad ***!!! My fiance and myself couldn't stop looking at it, it just shined like no other...So we get home....turned on the TV....and then BREAKING NEWS....WEATHER!!!! I was like...."NOOOOOOOOO".....Sure enough, about 15 minutes after I watched the news about these thunderstorms coming in...IT RAINED!!! I was so pissed off!!!! So if anyone got some rain, ya'll can thank me for the rain...When I take my time on my car like I did today, without a doubt it rains...never fails....It was beautiful blue skys when I washed her, no rain in the forecast when I watched the news this morning...and BOOM....Oh well...Guess I will have to wash her again tomorrow before the meet!!! That is it...just had to steam off a little bit....

Yes, this happens once or twice a year to all of us non-garage types. Spend all morning detailing just to get rained on.

The worst is when you spend all morning detailing your car, go for a pleasure cruise and get nailed by a passing T-storm. Sometimes luck just aint on your side...

roflo....So this is all your fault. And here I was blaming my co-worker who washed his black Acura TL Thursday night. What time did you wash your Z, so I know exactly who to blame for this disaster.

EDIT: It's not your fault, you washed yesterday....

Well I washed my Z yesterday around 3pm....and then right afterwards, at least here in Fort Worth, it started to rain. And what ticks me off is that the rain wasn't like a good rain, just enough rain to make your car look like crap...lol....This has happened to me many times in the past, with this car, my subaru, and my jeeps....I'm use to it by now and just bite my bottom lip when it does....

On another note....I should of wrote this in there with my first post....My fiance and I went to Sonic after I washed my Z and this stupid kid comes and a drizzles sweet tea all over my driver side fender....He was like, "Oh by the way, the tea is leaking out a little bit...." and then I was like...."NOOOOOO"...So I always have a towel in my Z, so I went to wipe it off, but it like reacted with the wax b/c it smeared and look ugly BIG TIME...I was so pissed off and rushed home, ran up the stairs, got a bottle of water with a little soap in it, ran back downstairs, and then cleaned it off very slowly....Thank God Sonic is about 2 blocks from my house....phew...

I'm sorry it had to happen like that. Was the meet last night, or is it today?

I guess my joke did not come as-well-as I thought it would.

LOL

Yeah it's funny how it seems to always rain within a day or two doing an all-day detail jobber. Thursday I went downtown for a little happy hour get together and I really debated washing my car Wednesday evening because the fear of "scattered" rain showers. None the less I took the chance and came out unscathed til the wee hours this morning. Besides I couldn't drive the little hotrod in Sundance Square all dirty!!! ;o)

Where do you live in Fort Worth 350TX? I live on Overton Ridge across the street from Costco...What color is your Z? I have a 2006 black Z...rims, veilside front lip, b-cool grill, etc....Just like to meet Z owners that are close in my area....

you said it takes forever to polish your rims... hope you know the rims you have require no polish. just a wash unless your waxing them... which is also not needed. hehe.

Well when I say polishing I mean water and a towel...lol...Not "real polish"...lol...I wax it every now and then...but it seems like everytime that I do wax it, it rains...lol...Normally I just use soap and water...
