I put the deposit down on the road course at Gainesville and the date is set Saturday June 3rd from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.The total cost of renting the facility is $2000.00 up to 20 cars which includes EMT,insurance,and tax.Everyone serious about going to this day of fun will need to be on the list by April 21st,and I must recieve payment by May 3rd.I will be taking checks,cash,or paypal,(Jeremy screen name audiblemayhem will be taking the paypal payments as my paypal account charges me a 3% fee) the amount each person will pay depends on the amount of people that attend (example. 10 cars=$200.00 each 20 cars=$100.00 each).That is why the deadline is being set to April 21st so at that time we will know what each of us will be spending.This list should fill up pretty quickly from the amount of interest already obtained, remember 20 cars is the max.Now this track rental is a gathering of individuals who want to get out on a track to push their limits and talk cars all day long.There is no instructors there really is no leader there is going to be rules to follow and I need everyone involved to help it go smoothly.It is just us and the EMT's out there.Everyone that goes will need to sign off on 2 waivers at the track.Each person will also need a snell 95 or newer helmet,and also be responsable for getting your car ready for the track(brakes,tires in non hazardous state,lugnut torque etc.)I rambled on enough if you have any questions:

I understand that no official instructors will be there. I've got some experience with tracking and HPDE's and have instructed at Talladega before. I'll be happy to help out in any way and sit in the passenger seat for someone who is new and wants to learn.

Sounds good,I will have the 17 page contract coming in the mail soon.So I will find out if that is allowed,having a passenger that is.Trackhorx8 if you are still wanting to come and bring along a couple buddies get you and buddies on the list.I know we have been through this before but if your sure you want in please post up and say "I want in".We will most likely get 20 cars local but I for sure would like to see you out there june 3 cause you showed great interest and kept the thread bumped.Also I would like everyone that is attending to email me there full name and car info.

they also stopped allowing passengers during auto-x last fall at GIR. If I recall correctly it was a venue rule and not the club rule, so my guess is passengers are no longer allowed there. i wish i could make it but i have no idea when i'm going to get back to gainesville, or the US for that matter

yeah i understand, we want to cover the spots as soon as possible. i would say we should branch out to corvette and RX8 guys. i have talked to a bunch of people who said they would be interested and they havent responded as fast as i thought they would.

i know we will have 20 people. its just how far we have to talk to people to get them there. do you know a lot of SRT4 guys. im sure they would like to go....

i have pmed about 8 more G35 guys that i am waiting on a for sure answer. they better hurry up!!

Yea I'm now talking to a buddy in Orlando from the Corvetteforum that could most likely get us some cars.I have hung with these guys before and they are great and would be down for something like this.I will be also posting up on the SRTforum very soon to fill the spots.
