Default Newest Painted Calipers on Redline

Went with something I hadn't seen to date on my redline. Red letters on black calipers. Pretty simple to do and I am pleased with how it came out:

How'd you do it, and where did you get the paint?

Thanks for the compliment. It was far more simple than I thought it would be. I just took each wheel off indepently over the course of the weekend, took the caliper loose, disassembled the caliper components (pads, shims, etc.), took the mounting bracket loose and used the Duracolor black high temperatures spray paint (I think it's good up to 1200°F). Taped (used the purple painters tape which has very little stick but enough) and used newspaper in the wheel well and sprayed the caliper in there so I didn't have to disconnect the brake lines and bleed them later, then sprayed the other components out in the yard.

The trickiest part since I dismounted the caliper was on the rear, I had to raise the suspension to get the bottom caliper mounting bolt out of alignment from one of the suspension members. Thankfully I have 3 floor jacks.

The red 350Z came from JVD Graphics and turned out quite nice. Took a little while to arrive but I was in no hurry and he did a great job on them.

You can get them from here:

PM Me (JVD Graphics) / Email me (M3GEclipseRS@aol.com)/AIM Me (Birdmn3) with your information or if you have any problems. Ask anyone who has purchased them and they will tell you that I keep a constant contact with all members and I never leave anyone hanging or confused.

The price is $15.00 shipped for front and rear caliper stickers.

Hope this helps!!!!!

did you use any kind of clearcoat over the stickers? or is it just paint the caliper, let them dry, then put on stickers?

$15.00 SHIPPED! Thats freaking expensive for a little sticker... MY friend has a machine that does graphics, for something like this he would charge like $3.00... And to ship out what does it cost? A postal stamp? Man if these are the prices people are willing to pay I better go invest on a machine to make lots of money!!
