A Cincinnati area 350Z meet is scheduled for Saturday June 19. The rain date is Sunday June 20. Other types of sports cars are also expected. The types of cars included are S2K, WRX, Evo, as well as Acura NSX/RSX. Others are also welcome. This meeting creates the opportunity for Z owners to get to know each other as well as other sports car enthusiasts in the Ohio/Kentucky/Indiana tri-state area.

After the meet a run is scheduled. A to-be-determined route will go through Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio. Each sports car model will be grouped together and separated by driving style: spirited and moderate. I will lead the 350Z spirited group and I am looking for a responsible volunteer to lead the 350Z moderate group.

Please post according to your degree of participation (meet and/or run).

The meeting place will be at the Florence Cinemas on Mall Road at 10 am. Directions:

From Ohio -- take 71 or 75 south into Ky, (~10 miles into Ky) take the Ky-18 (Burlington/Florence) exit 181, right off exit, left at first light onto Mall road.

If you miss this exit, you can also take the next 2 exits [(Mall Road exit (right off exit, movies on left 0.25 miles) & US-42 exit (make a right onto Mall road after a few lights, 1 mile on left)], both of these can still get you onto mall road if you are not directionally challenged.

Please be sure to gas up, there is a BP station off of Ky-18 exit, and couple Shell stations off the US-42 exit.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm always trying to meet local Z/Gs owner. I'm not a Z owner myself, but I do have an 04 G35 coupe. Unfortunately with my work schedule I can't commit to anything that far out, but I will put it on my calender. First though, I'll have to go out and by a calender.....

well, lots is between 5 and 10. some people are friends of a friend, so it will depend on my friend inviting them. i can count on my own friends to come, 3 wrx's, rx-8, and me of course. i also have a buddy with a lincoln ls that is really into cars. i'll see what i can stir up.

OK, I'll put you in at moderate. Good point.

We will be emphasizing safety before we go on the run. There will be those who want to open it up a bit on open straights, aggressive acceleration out of open turns, and so on. But what will not be tolerated is reckless driving through blind curves, populated areas, dangerous passing, etc. Many different model cars will be attending this meet and it will not turn into “my car is faster than yours”

This meet is intended for owners of different types of cars to interact and get a closer look at other cars. Not to compete on the roads. The run will be intended for non-competitive fun.

The purpose of grouping by driving style is so drivers may participate according to their experience and comfort level.

just got off of the phone with "friend 1" aka Pete. he is excited about the meet and has begun the calling chain. he and the rest of my delinquint friends will be in the spirited class, i would like to call myself spirited because i drive fast and aggresive, but at the same time do not take any risks with my car. Pete is originally from Chillicothe and he has friends from home that he is going to invite to come down. they are brothers, one has an STI and the other has an EVO. If they can come down then it will be me and friends 1-7. sounds like it is going to be a good time. i am looking forward to meeting everyone.

speaking of girls, theres a pretty one that drives around cincy in a black 350. I've seen it on Montg Rd. in Landen and 2ce in Clifton. I am always walking when she drives by. next time i see her i am going to jump out in the street and make her stop. with my luck though, it is probably her boyfriend's car.
