Default GSCMotorsports.com Complete 350Z Build up.

The Subject:
2004 350Z with 837 miles on the car.

The Parts list:
Greddy 350Z Twin TD05H-18G Turbo Kit
Greddy 350Z Front Mount Intercooler
Greddy E-01 boost controller
Greddy Type S BOV
Tein Flex Kit
Tein EDFC
StopTech 14" 4 wheel Brake kit
Stillen Exhaust
HRE Wheels
Possibly a Body Kit as well

The car arrived a few days ago after the Greddy turbo kit came in. This is our first install of this turbo kit so we wanted to take pictures and answer questions as we went along. I will start off with saying the quality of the Greddy kit is 100% as usual. Plus it came with a nice set of instructions. We will be digging to the car this weekend so we can take pictures and make an accurate write up. We have decided to work this car over two weekends. This weekend we will work with the turbo intercooler setup. And next weekend we will get to the suspension and brakes when they come in. The customer ordered a special color StopTech kit that has a 30-day lead-time so we are waiting patiently on those to arrive.

Here are a few pictures we snapped of the kit laid out and the car.

Wow, looks very nice. I would HIGHLY recommend you finish breaking the engine in before boosting it, but thats just personal preference. When you get done, wanna do mine next?

We can brake it in with the boost just the same. I feel it might be better to brake it in with boost as its whole like will be under boost.

As far as your car next bring it on. We love projects like this.

This will be an on going photo shoot. Expect a very large post with Pictures tomorrow as we tear into the car.

I'm disappointed, you don't have a temp tag on it.

Keeping the user on this board nameless...

He too tried to break it in under low boost. BAD IDEA! Our internals @ oem compresion aren't meant for boost, let them break in... then introduce boost.

Doing otherwise will leave you with an oil thirsty Z.

That's got potential. Post up when youre done installing.

One question...Why does your Z have track wheels with the non-brembo brakes? I wouldn't think you would swap them if you're putting HRE's on it anyway.

Got some good pictures today I will have them up tomorrow evening. Basically all we did today was remove the manifolds bumper, put up the new oil pan and assessed the situation. We are a little concerned with the location of the rubber fuel lines so close to the passanger side compressor so we will probably replace the lines with a ss braided line and venture on this week. The install should take a week to document as we are doing this one after hours. I must say we are quite impressed at the construction of the car and have some high hopes for the car.

BTW anyone out there know what an auto will take as far as HP.

Well it’s been a long week at the shop and I haven't had time to post but here goes. So far so good on the kit driver’s side is up and we are making a heat shield for the fuel lines on the passenger side. IC is mounted and the car. And so are the stoptechs just the front back will go on tomorrow.

Default She's all finished

Well Its finished and back at home. Well actually its been home for a few weeks, I have been lazy on posting the pics to see if we could post a dyno chart with them but guess I'll ad that later.

As soon as KS finishes breaking her in we will get some dyno pulls and see what she can do.
