These are hub spacers that are installed and then never touched. They are installed behind the hub and caliper.

Why are the spacers necessary?

I see, they go here. Interesting, apparently to fix a clearance issue of some sort when the camber or caster changed. This would widen the track a bit.

so would that bring out the wheel a little bit? i plan to go with an aggresive offset on the wheels i plan to buy so i wouldn't want any clearance issues with the front fenders

They won't cause any issues. The spacer will push the top of the tire out but you will bring it back in with the camber kit. The bottom movement is so small it is negligible.

The caster is adjusted from the balljoint as well. SPC designed a special plate for this adjustment.

Could you please explain in detail why this is necessary? I had these arms on my 'must buy' list, but I'm not sure about something that changes the geometry of the wheel mounting locations.
