Thanx guys...

Here are some photos and a video clip for you guys...

www.equibs.com/richie

Resolute,

I think he (Peter Pilkington) is doing that as we speak.. but just not too sure if he has done it yet... I haven't spoken to him for a coupe of months already... I gotta call him up one day and find out more about it!

BTW... I will post up the mod list later... a bit too much for me to get them out from top of my head...

cheers,

richie

sad to see Richie - but what you accomplished with your car has been terrific. Hopefully there will be a few of us to carry the torch

Thanks for the picture link. According to your dyno pic, you made 212.5kw which converts to 284.97hp. Considering 16% drive train loss, that puts you at the 330.5hp mark. Did I do that right? That's really good.

I think the 284 number was not even the most it made...isn't this a 300+whp car?

Adam,

I am sure Des will be doing some more jobs to it.... we shall see!

We had about 19% drivetrain loss... so when we calculated it... it has got around 347HP from the engine.... just a tad bit below the 100HP/L magic number. BTW... the the same dyno.... a Ferrari F355 pulls out 205rwKW...

cheers,

richie

So what would you say the grand total was to build this car...so that we can refer to this thread every time someone brings up a N/A vs FI thread.

Nismo 350Z: Visit www.vmscarpc.com.au for more info on the car PC products!

The grand total... I can say is... A LOT..... I will do a rough calculation now then JUST on the PERFORMANCE PARTS... and will get back to you guys soon

If the Ferrari 355 really has 380HP at the engine to pull out 205rwKW... My car should have more then that at the engine when it was pulling out 212.5rwKW... but I would like to say... I have around 350HP at the engine to be at the conservative side...

cheers,

richie

ok... this is just a quick one with all the PERFORMANCE mods... it does not include the labour like fitting in exhausts, flywheel and other things like that.. but it does include tuning, engine fittings and rebuild...

Total: $AU 39,910.00, which is around $US 30K or so...

cheers,

richie
