For anybody that's interested... A few of us will be meeting up at Speedzone and cruising together to the Park 11:30am-noon.

 

ok, after checking it out and calling park reservations, here's the deal:

First off, all the pavillions are reserved (I'll post pics in a few minutes)
the two I looked at are booked for birthday parties (10am - 5pm) ... Go figure... Now we can try to play party crashers and jump in get the birthday girl (hopefully) drunk and get on with the party!... I mean come on who doesnt want 21 Gs and Zs at their birthday party right?

Or the other option... We find another location within the park... There are plenty if spots all along the roads that cruise through the middle of the park... ( which is one main road and one other that branches off the main road)
deal is with these... Its first come first serve... And it being a Saturday and expecting good weather... Might prove difficult... We can hope that, with our meet starting as early as it does, we can get enough of us there early enough to maybe secure a spot... Getting enough of us in one area and it'll be obvious where we are to the late comers...

Other news... Without a pavillion, there are no park grills... Which are plentiful at the pavillion... So one or two of us are going to have to plan to bring a grill...
1) park rules on grills... Please don't dump hot charcoals on the ground...
2) not likely that they allow adult beverages one the park grounds either... So plan on bringing styrofoam cups or plastic cups...
3) Solution to that Is anyone planning on drinking there stop and get a convience store beverage in a cup...

The most important thing is that it needs to be in the shade. 30 minutes in the sun is bad enough to make everyone regret going to the meet...lol.

 

LegionnaireZ - great recon, thanks for checking on everything. Hopefully we will have an area somewhere so we can grill.

As for the adult beverages ... I'm bringing 2 Heineken keg cans (1 regular, 1 light) so we'll just need plastic cups which are accounted for. If someone else wants another kind of beverage then they'll just have to be discreet with it...

Sorry guys, the 350z meet at Razzoo's in Richardson is back on...lol. I guess I'd rather be indoors than outdoors with the hot weather we'll be having. So I removed myself, NISMO 1071 and Bommart from this list. Bommart isn't attending either meet actually.
