The seat is all the way forward, and he might have just taken out the interior peices and took the pic as a joke?

hey man. Call me nuts, but if he does it right, fiberglasses it neatly and cleanly and executes this in a professional manner, I say more power to him. I hope it comes out nice and I hope he keeps everyone updated.

i don't get why people call other peoples ideas crap for. So what if he wants to add a back seat? I say go for it if he wants to do it, and best of luck. Not everyone tracks their cars. And not everyone cares about getting their car the fastest in the universe just for the he'll of it. I would never do it, but even if I wanted to I would never grow a sac big enough to try it.

So, to summarize,
nice ********* man.

That's at the least...unsafe. You're altering the interior structure of the vehicle. Really...is that smart?

i love how no one here read the original thread. he's not adding a back seat hes going to put a sub box in that space. That being said, he probably messed up the structural integrity of his car now.

If he does it right, he should be able to weld in some braces and do just fine as far as the structural integrity of the car goes.

He better put in a serious system, or a bench seat. Either one and I will applaud him.

... and the bench better be suede.

A 350Z with backseats is a Infinity, either G35 or M35

+10!

In a side impact collision these structural changes would definately kill the occupants. I wonder how it affects handling and stability at highway speeds.
