Default touch up paint for PPW

tried the stuff they have at pep boys but its like a bright white and there is a very noticeable difference. PPW is more of an offwhite with the pearl. I dont expect touch up paint to have the pearl but i need a color thats not as bright flat white as the touch up and more of an off white like the PPW

a. Clean the area with isopropyl alcohol.
b. Apply a coat of white Rust-oleum appliance touch-up paint #203000.
c. Allow to dry.
d. Apply a coat of Nissan touch-up paint #999PP-TQQX1TC.
e. Allow to dry.
f. Wax as usual.

I have tried several methods to touch-up Pikes Peak White. The key is the base coat. You may have to experiment with several techniques.

Just letting you know that it does not match the car at all. I used some on my rear bumper, followed all the directions, and it looks like I used white out or something. Let us know what method you use.

Which paint did you use? I bought the two step one from Nissan and it matches great.

I got it from the dealer, it was 2 bottles, one base, and one was the pearl. Its just not the same white for some reason. Where on the car did you use it? The hood, bumpers and doors are all different materials, I think it matters on the material you apply it on. Did you do anything different from the general directions??
