My SES light is ON. OBDII reads: P0444 An open circuit condition exits in the electrical circuit for the purge control valve in the evaporative emission control system.
a. I got the SES light ON immediately after installing the plenum spacer.
b. I can temporarily turn OFF SES by disconnecting battery for several hours. But when I restart car, SES come ON.
c. The car runs fine.
What is the purge control valve? Where is it? Is there a relationship between the purge control valve and plenum spacer?
Your help and comments are appreciated.

Oh, there's a definite relationship there. The purge control valve is the little unit connected to the back passenger side of the upper plenum. IIRC, it has a hose and a connector coming off of it. My guess is that you didn't reconnect the vacuum hose or it has a bad leak. The pic below shows where it is...

Thanks for your help. I figure that before I try any complicated diagnostics, that I would search for something simple. And the solution was simple: I failed to connect the evap canister purge control solenoid valve.
Don't feel bad, we all do something stupid like that at one time or another. I was working on mine and had the BCM unplugged and tried to start the car. It won't start without all the connectors plugged in
Hmmm....I have the same exact SES, which came up the same way after I installed my plenum spacer. Even does the same exact thing by restarting the car.
I'm pretty sure I checked all my vacuum lines but I"ll check again. And thanks for the pic Dave
