Default Blox spacer

What do you guys think about the Blox 5/8 plenum spacer? I have only read about the MD Spacer? With that size of spacer can you still use the stock strut bar?

You can still use stock on 5/8 but you need to adjust height. I would stick with MD IMHO.

Test and proven. If you have a problem, Tony frequents the forum and can help you out.

Talk to Julian at MRC. Best price by $50 for me.

So as far as the height goes you just add washers to the strut bar?

Should I stay away from the Blox? Only 89.00 plus shipping brand new. I know the MD is some good stuff from what others have posted.

The only reason I ask, is because in the top 100 questions it says that a spacer is a spacer, no matter what brand. I'm not trying to say a person wouldn't have better customer service somewhere else. I just want to make sure I won't have any issues with rubbing and the stock strut bar.

you are guaranteed the research and development and a quality product with the MD and you ALWAYS get just what you pay for. if nothing else, pay for the MD to get the piece of mind knowing you have a product people have atleast heard of and not some ebay item that has no research.

I agree you always get what you pay for. Just didn't know if anyone has actually heard of Blox. I guess not so far. Plus with the 5/16 spacer I would def. not have any rubbing issues.

From what I understand about the Blox, you can't use the stock strut bar, and in some cases, it can rub against the hood.

With the 5/16" spacer, you can use your stock strut bar and it definitely won't touch the hood.

+1 for Motordyne. When I was installing my spacer I called Tony on a Saturday early evening and he was there to take my call and help me resolve my issue. Looking forward to MD future products.

Thanks for the input. I know you get what you pay for. I sent Tony an email and will hopefully get a MD spacer in a couple weeks.

5/16" will work with stock strut, 5/8" is entirely different.

Anyways, I'd go with MD and one of the vendors through the site. They should be able to get you set up. (This is a great mod btw. You should really feel it at the higher RPMs)
