Arrow FS: Work CR Kai, 18X9.5 +20 asking $1,250 (local only)

SOLD

what:
Rims: Work CR Kai's 18X9.5" +20 in gun-metal
Tires: F 245/35/18, R 275/35/18 BFG KDW's (probably around 60% worn)
*the 18X9.5" +20 wheels look great, they've got the beautiful concave to them...if you stagger the rim (8.5" up front), the fronts look flat and IMO not as good. With 9.5" rims, you can fit HUGE tires if you want...think 315's

Condition: front driver-side wheel has some minor scrathes along the outer edge - my wife accidentally dropped the wheel on it's face (it's not so apparent b/c I paitned the marked black , but up close, you can see it). Other than that, they're in great condition. I wrap all of my lug nut sockets w/ blue tape, so that it doesn't scratch the wheels.

Why: I'm selling b/c I'm going to focus on autoX and want to buy a 2nd set of racing rims and more R-comp rubber (I'm going to slowly sell all of my non-AutoX stuff for the Z).

Cost: I'm asking $1,250 for everything. At this point I'm not willing to ship or separate.

for cost reference:
NEW - around $1,600 + shipping
Tires -

other Work CR Kai's for sale

These are still on the car - I'm currently looking for a set of OE wheels (or something cheap) to roll on for the streets...I'd be up for possible trades. Also, feel free to stop by and check the wheels out while they're still on the car.

aren't they good racing wheels themself? Light and strong? Or maybe you just want 17"? Bump for some sick wheels at a good price

they're good wheels all around - but I'm looking for 17X9's for autoX; R-comps are cheaper in 17", and 9" wide wheels are lighter and can still fit the tire sizes I want. Plus I'm looking for a used set b/c I don't care how the autoX rims looks...so that can save some $$.

Can anyone tell me if those sizes would screw up traction control?

Would you be interested in a partial trade for some 06 stock rims? 18x8 18x8.5, 21,xxx miles on the tires, one front rim is curbed.

Where is New Castle?

just bought another set of wheels for the street to replace these...so no need to trade anymore.

Newcasttle is between Renton and Bellevue.

Traction control is fine, but if you start pushing the limits, it appears to kick in a bit earlier than OE tire sizes...but if you're driving under 8/10ths you won't notice it - the tire/wheel diameters were choosen to closely match OE for this purpose.

You should just pick them up for a spare set. Who knows how long it'll be 'til you need to replace 1 or 2 of yours...

I am thinking, yeah these would not come close on fitting my sedan. Maybe if they were a +38 yes but 20 no, plus do you guys think those wheel would look good on my sedan. I need to fine a wheel that will clear my brake, well the wilwood caliper. Sorry back to some nice wheels.

I got his Rotas from him...I was looking to get a set of OE rims and to put 615's on them for street and autoX practice days...his already had the 615's, so it made good buisness sense

hey, there are lots of bolt pattern`s.

just wanted to make sure. but i just put on my other 18x9`s and i cant justify buying these. mainly cause they are very heavy rims... my 18x9`s weigh 19lbs...

would you be willing to let me do a test fit?

If it came off a 350Z of G35, it's always 5x114.3. Why would you need a test fit either? You have the widths/offsets listed for you, as well as pics of the actual wheels on the car.

you can test fit them if you want...I'll have them off the car this Saturday, so anytime after that would be fairly easy to have you drive up and put them on to see if they rub & how they look.

FWIW, there's less than a finger's width bewteen the rear fender and tire (no fender rolling) and the car is dropped around 2-2.5"...so it should fit w/out fuss.
