XXTuning/Meguiar's Meet - July 31st (E. Hartford, CT)

XXTuning in E. Hartford, CT (www.xxtuning.com) and Meguiar's (www.meguiars.com) are proud to be hosting a detailing meet for 350Z/G35 owners. This should be a fun event and will allow everyone to learn a little more about car detailing from an expert.

Meguiar's will have a representative present who will take the dirtiest car available and completely detail it (engine compartment, interior, exterior, etc.) with their products.

Everyone is welcome to detail their cars their as well, however, please bring your car washed as XXTuning is not a car wash and won't be able to handle washing every car. The Meguiar's representative will guide you step-by-step through the detailing process. Below is the itinerary:

Date: Sunday, July 31st

10:00 AM - Meet at XXTuning (donuts, juice, coffee, etc.)
11:00 AM - Meguiar's demonstration to begin
12:30 - 1:00 PM - Lunch break (pizza, sodas, etc.)
1:00 - 2:00 PM - Continuation and finish of Meguair's demonstration
2:00 - 3:00 PM - Q&A session and product purchase

FEE: $5.00/car (to cover the cost of food. Any money leftover will be put in a pot and raffled off at the end of the day).

Anybody else? We need to have at least 20 cars for this meet to take place. Based on history, not everyone that is listed on the attendee list attends meets so right now we're very close. Let's get some more attendees so that I don't have to cancel this meet as I am really looking forward to learning more about car detailing.

Don't cancel the meet! Even if we don't have 20 people, it will still be fun to meet and hang out. I'll look into a possible drive route in case the detailing thing falls through. What do you think?

The problem is I have a representative from Meguiar's attending and in order for this meet to be worth his while he needs to be assured that at least 20 car owners will be there. We're right on the edge as we stand. I know we have 2-1/2 weeks to go but I don't want to do a last minute cancel with this guy.

I'll give this until the end of next week and see where we are at that time.

I understand the situation, but even in the worst case scenario, if you have to cancel the meguair's rep., we should still have a meet at XX. That's all I'm saying.

Problem is XXTuning doesn't normally open on Sundays so if we don't have the Meguiar's the place will be closed.

Hopefully, we'll get some more cars to sign up.
