Cool Brandon3434's 350z Nismo #0277

Brandon3434's 2007 350z Nismo #0277

Hello all,

I made this thread to track the progress of my z instead of making different threads here and there. I like to take a lot of pictures and I've been getting into photography a lot more, so chances are there will be a lot of pictures. I'll keep this thread updated with anything I do to my z, and maybe ***** out a few pics while I'm at it. Hope you all can learn a thing or two, enjoy!

The Story of my Nismo

I got my second z (Nismo) on August 22, 2010. I flew to Newport News, Virginia, then drove my new z home to Cincinnati, Ohio. Between driving my beautiful new car by the beach, to driving on the curvy roads in the mountains of West Virginia, I had a blast! (I even had a moment of immaturity and raced a 370z, and pulled him! Just made the trip even better!) My first z was an 06, which I loved. I decided to sell it because I didn't see the need for a "sporty" car at this point in my life. Well that all changed when I saw a sale add for my now current nismo. I called Mike (original owner) after seeing his add and told him I could fly to Virginia in a week and drive it home. When I saw it, I immediately fell in love. I actually was not a fan of the nismo body kit, but I can now say that I am changed! It is hands down the best looking z I have ever seen, I love the look of a Nismo Z. I actually bought the car with some stuff done to it, which I wasn't too excited about. After seeing it in person and getting to know Mike, I knew the z was in great hands before me, so I had nothing to worry about.

Now, I am making the z my own. I absolutely love every day of owning this. (Yes, even now as it is 10 degrees and ice/snow is everywhere haha.) I do all the work myself with the help of friends here and there, and it really makes it a fun, learning experience. So far I have worked a lot on suspension. I actually had a thread covering the new suspension parts I was working with, but accidentally deleted it thinking it was an old for sale add I had open. After owning it, I have added spacers, redone the suspension (almost every part), bought different tires due to previous size problems, long tube intakes, and have done some exterior work. Like I said, I am making it my own slowly, and I'm excited to see whats in the future for #0277! I have been able to track it a couple of times so far, and I love the way it handles and performs compared to my old z. The HR engine is much better in my opinion, and the nismo's handling compared to a regular z is honestly noticeable.

My Nismo when I got it:

MOAR!
Thanks! I agree King, its always good to see different tastes and experiences...I don't see much about Nismos on this site, so the more the better!

Also, yea in that pic, the orange/rainbow effect is on the headlights because of the demon eyes...

Calin, haha.

Within the next week or so, I'll finish reviewing my new suspension setup to help anyone who's thinking about going a similar route. I have everything done, but I'm waiting on front SPL a-arms to fix my front camber. I'll update the thread+lots of pics when I am completely done installing/adjusting everything. Like I said before, I accidentally deleted the Stance/Swift review thread I made that some of you may have saw.

Here's a preview shot of the new stance:
Not much lower, but perfectly where I wanted it.

^^^Haha, thanks man...I'll explain more once I finish the suspension and everything but I only rub in the front due to camber, which will be fixed once I get the a arms...My suspension is pretty darn stiff tho, so I don't rub much as it is. It's all about camber at this point for me...

Those wheels and that stance perfect the car. It needs NOTHING else on the exterior.
