Twin turbo and nitrous is the way to go!!!


ok guys, we put Coach Ks car back on the dyno for the nitrous tune.

he first brought us the car a few months ago for a utec addition and a retune. we got him another 15 whp on his current setup from the before and after dynos. he picked up another 1/10th in the quarter.

we also installed the nitrous at the same time but didnt have time to tune it by the time he had to pick the car up. sooooo...

he brought it back to us for a nitrous tune (35 shot) on top of the APS tt kit. this is a 5 speed auto with a torque converter and a valve body in it.

we added in some C16 for the fun of it and WOW, this sets all kind of records for autos on our dyno. this car is nasty now!! he was running low low 12s with the last tune of 385 whp. now he will be much much faster for sure...


again this is an auto and when the TC lock up on my dyno, the rpms actually drop a bit and it makes a loop

we tuned the car again with the addition of the 3.5 downpipes, here is the graph today on 9.9 psi...



now remember, this is an 5AT... little C16 , 35 shot and little magic

Forgot to ask....was this on a stock tranny ? any upgrades on it ?

 

stock tranny with a Edge racing torque converter and a valve body, the rest is stock

 

My exact set up also . Glad to hear it holds thr trq. . I'll probably will be making the same WHP

 

Very nice! What tires are used at the strip with this car running low 12's?

 

Sick! Awesome CoachK and PF! Nice job representing the 5AT. Was it the nitrous or the race fuel that let you keep the torque that nice in the upper RPMs?

Just curious where Andre set the stall for the TC? Which VB? Need some driving experience feedback from the COACH! How does the TT power feel in the auto?

Are you moving over there? You're going to love the scene over there. It was great while I was there and I can only imagine how it is now that they have Jeremy tuning the he11 out of the VQs.

stock fuel system with the little APS fpr that comes with the kit.

if he does anything else, time for a fuel system and upgraded injectors!!

you are right tom, i dont ever sleep. went to bed at 12 midnight, up at 4 am and back on here... hahaha

You'll have to ask JT about the torque in the upper rpms.The stall was set for 3300rpm.All I can say is TT on an auto is unbelievable.My car should put down some good times now.
I've said this numerous times on this forum and I'll say it again, JT is incredible at what he does. To sit and watch JT tune a car is amazing.Its almost like he is in a trance or at some other level of thinking.I could go on and on but I'm no nuthugger.

BFG DR's 295/35/18 and consistant 12.2 with consistant 1.7 60'...Will be going with M/T DR's on Weld ProStars from here on out.
