Forged Performance is a full-service facility, with seven lifts and a fully-equipped, clean workshop for any needed services. Our dealer certified and experienced technicians are here to professionally install all of your parts and accessories. Oftentimes, bolt-on parts, are anything BUT bolt-on. Over the years, we have "seen it all", and are confident in installing, fabricating, and adapting the most complex parts for the best fitment possible.

Unlike some shops that simply throw a part on a car, our techs go above and beyond, such as discretely looming and routing lines, soldiering and heat-wrapping electrical connectors, and using grommets and heat wrap where appropriate. Vehicles leave our facility in the same or better condition than when they arrived. Each car is thoroughly washed and detailed inside and out prior to delivery. Although we are one of the largest stocking parts dealers, we will gladly install parts that are purchased elsewhere.

Forged Performance is one of a handful of shops, that builds their own race winning engines in-house for maximum quality control. With a zero failure rate, our engines have proven themselves both on the road and on the racetrack. And having pioneered many of the standard engine building parts and practices in the tuning community, our engines are second to none.

Forced induction is our specialty, and we have completed more forced induction installs on Nissan's, Subaru's, and Mitsubishi's than just about any other shop in the country. Experience, safety, and maximum reliable power are our motos's.

about:
In 2009, a idea was set in motion to bring together people from all over, representing different automobile makes and models all in the name of one modification style…. Stance. There is nothing new about the idea of wheel fitment on a car, however “stance” is more then just merely lowering a vehicle to allow a set of aggressive wheels to fit closely to freshly cut fenders. Stance is the character behind the fitment. A car is no longer looked at as merely a mode of transportation, but as a canvas open for interpretation.

Stance of the Union was created in this vein, to unite like-minded people who individually are using their vehicle for artistic interpretation all in the name of “stance”. Our goal is to bring people from far and wide to gather in a place without pretension, or judgment. A place where people can come to see familiar faces and to befriend new ones.

No trophies, no judges, and zero cost: Stance of the Union is a place to gather for all who are dedicated to scraping frame and pushing fitment. It was created for the people, by the people and to serve the people who push the culture in a positive direction.

Event Info:
StanceWorks is pleased to bring you Stance of the Union 2010 in the heart of the California state capital of Sacramento. We have secured the top two levels of the most prominent parking garage in scenic part of downtown. Here is a brief look at what the event will look like:
Friday

There will be people flying and rolling in Friday evening. We will all be gathering at the Holiday Inn next to where the event will be held.

9:00 – 11:00 pm: We will have a meet and greet for everyone to gather at. We encourage anyone who can to come early, as it’s a great time to get to know people in a chill environment outside the show. I’m sure festivities will continue well after.

For those of you concerned about parking, there will be overnight parking available Friday night. Cars can go in, but don’t come out until the show is complete the following day. Entrances are located at 3rd & L Streets or off 3rd Street near the Holiday Inn.

Saturday

8:00 – 12:00 PM: Roll-in for pre-registered cars will take place in this time window, subject to change. If you plan to park as a group or team, please contact me via Ben @ Stanceworks.com for arranging this. Vendor setup will be taking place at the same time. We will do our best to stage groups of individuals to minimize chaos. You will need to have a printout confirmation of your registration on your dash.

12:00 – 6:00 PM: The event begins and gates open for general admission. We welcome everyone to come out and be a part of the event. This is more an opportunity for like-minded people of all makes and models to gather and meet one another then anything else. It’s more like a festival then a show in this regard. We will have a live DJ, photographers from all over, videographers filming and a host of other things to be announced soon.

To re-iterate, the event is free for participants (although you must be registered and pre-screened) and general admission, so we ask everyone to come out and to have a great time wrapping up the year!

6:00 – On: We will orderly begin rollout. Due to the constraints of being in a parking garage, we ask everyone who is in the event to stay the entire event. If you can’t stay the whole event, we ask you to not enter your car into the show. We ask this based on logistics as well as liability. The event will be officially over at 6:00.

Hey guys, so I bought 8000K Bi-Xenon’s Bulbs for my 2006 350Z and installed them myself a while back and everything was fine. It’s been about a year and I ended up selling the Bulbs to someone and put my OEM 4300K (I think that’s what they are) back in. Now Since putting them OEM bulbs back in I can see that my passenger bulbs is pointing downwards and when measured up against a wall (8 feet away) I noticed that the light only goes up to 23 inches when it should be around 26-27.5 (or so I’ve read here: http://my350z.com/forum/vq35hr/49796...placement.html). I went on that thread and found a link to this thread: http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/tech-z-003/index.asp. Both of those are about the 2003-2005 headlights and not the 2006-2008 set up. I was wondering if someone could tell me where I could find out how to adjust the lens on the 2006 model headlight (hopefully with a screwdriver like the 2003-2005 set up). I searched, as you can tell, but to no avail. Thanks Guys.

Drifting: *Alrighty folks, here we go again. *If you don't know where this venue is, just go to maps.google.com and search for Mineral Wells Airport, TX. *Click on the satellite pic and you can see where we play VERY clearly. The lot is HUGE, and we often hit speeds of around 100mph on entry. *Everyone is welcome to come out and drive even if it is your first time. *We have people to instruct you, and help you through your first day. *Drivers meeting is at 9:30 am or slightly after, and we drive until around 4:30-5:30 pm. *

Car Meet: *Come hang out in a fun atmosphere with a bunch of people with cool cars. *Ride along with the drifters, get some pointers, and be a part of the Texas scene. *We regularly have some really cool cars out at Mineral Wells, and you don't have to worry about getting kicked out by cops or standing around without anything fun to do like normal car meets. *Regular cars that attend our events include LS1 swapped import cars, 2JZ swapped cars, a V8 AE86, tons of turbo 240sx's, BMWs, 350Zs, etc. *You will have fun! *Bring a helmet so you can ride along with the drifters!

Media: *We will have multiple photographers and video people shooting for online blogs, possible magazine stuff, and general online stuff. *There has been a ton of Speedhunters, Motormavens, Maydaygarage, Stanceworks, and other content generated at these events lately.

I can't stop. :( With my RC hobby and the Z, it don't even care anymore once I get the parts and have a badass RC car or some new mods for the Z. It's more about the shopping process and the anticipation of waiting for the parts to get here. Maybe I just get a rush from getting stuff in the mail? I need to hit up www.slickdeals.net to cure my addiction by getting a crapton of free samples everyday.

Anyone??

phreak (just dropped like $150 om a brushless system for the Mini LST)

I had a bad feeling about this car as soon as i drove it of the lot. Two weeks after i got it i had to get plugs in both rear tires. Then it started to overheat and nissan tells me its normal. A few months later a big hail storm hit and done over 8,000 worth of damage. While wating for a spot in the shop some f@ucknut backs into the hood and drives away. The whole time nissan cant find what is making that dam high pitch buzz inside the car.And the last week i had to take it in to the dealer because the whole head liner started to fall out.Now iam driving a new 2010 Titan SE.Yes i am upside down on this truck but i had to let the z go.Sorry guys i know you love the z car but this one had some bad juju on it.

I figured that 350z tech would be better for this, but I couldn't find any forum that was appropriate. So here it is.

I've got a 2003 350Z 6MT. 45,000 miles. All stock. It's a touring w/ traction and all that if anyone wants or needs to know.

Today on my way home from work, I pushed the clutch in to switch gears and the pedal was stuck to the floor. I lifted the pedal up. Tried again, and it sticks again. During a torrential downpour...

Anyways, The clutch does not disengage, only stays engaged. I got home by rev matching to get into gears, just didn't use the clutch. Obviously I didn't stop otherwise getting into 1st gear would be a bigger issue.

My question is, what is the problem? Is this common? Has it happened to anyone? My thoughts are either the throw out bearing is broken/sticking or maybe the clutch cylinder decided to quit. Any input? I haven't checked the fluid yet as the weather is pretty bad, planning on doing so in the morning, but I highly doubt that is the issue.

I was driving down the interstate and my wipers just stopped mid motion in the middle of the windshield. I can hear the motor running when I turn them on but nothing moves. They will move easily and freely if I move them by hand. Any suggestions are appreciated I do not want to spend a ton of money at a mechanic if it is something dumb like a pin broke.

Thanks,
