Default 11.0-11.3 @ 120-124 Stock Block Times

Just wanted to share our night of fun at de soto raceway in bradenton florida. we tuned our TN ST stock block car with some C16 and took it out to the track. we got in a lot of runs, around 7 and they ranged from 11.03 to 11.31 with trap speeds ranging from 120 to 124!!! (96-97 1/8th mile traps)

Congrats to the great driving of AJ with his incredible 60's all ranging from 1.57 to 1.63s on many consecutive runs....

Videos of smoking one of Titans supras, along with all the time slips and anything else we can post up about it will be up tomorrow...

thanks guys!!

Well, thats just the *****. Thats is some serious stuff you are doing with AJ's car, and congrats to you AJ for driving it so well, and achieving these new standards.

So, how easily can this be duplicated for customers?

F0ken good driving AJ.

This is just great for the Drag commmunity, To all that have TN turbos, just cuz AJ did it doesnt mean you'll do it.
This is a case of a good set up, but mosty driver! Its not all about HP... Its skill!!
It takes alot of skill to do this! Jermey way to push it! Now if we can just finda way to hold it togther for longer.

We are @ Barber Motorsport Park right now and handing some a$$, against 150K+ cars (stay tune for video).
Once again great job

Sick, I knew you would run low 11's, but didnt expect such a high trap! Congrats AJ and Jeremy for the nice tune.

Now be honest-passenger seat out? Spare? Any weight reduction? A/C? etc...you ever weighed that car?

No seat and they had some of the rear metal cut out in prep for a cage but it did have a/c.

we prepared his car for the cage, cause we knew it would run better than 11.49 for sure. we really only thought he would get one run but the track techs werent really paying attention last night and they werent showing the stupid times on the boards because it was one of those domestic cash run nights.

my scanner is up at the shop so i will get all the tickets scanned when i get back up there.

ok , from the seats forward, the car is bone stock, everything is in the car from say the back of the doors to the front of the car, full working AC, power steering, airbags, the car is pretty stock actually. now we have the plastic out behind the seats along with some metal that is in the way for the same cage as i have in my car. no passenger seat on these runs either but still pretty stock weight.

its just crazy cause i know what i was doing a year ago to run these same times with my built motor and slicks, as well as many many people with built motor setups running much slower on slicks.

he is definitely powershifting also, at first a while ago , i asked him if he was lifting and he said kinda, i told him, F that, dont lift that right foot up and he started knocking 2-4 tenths off his current times and we havent looked back since...

thanks guys!! probably throwing in a simple short block i have sitting around and getting the car to this power level on 93 octane for his daily driving map and then building a nice sick block with my new piston line in there

Default Time Slips

here you go, after studying the time slips, i have come to conclusion that the rod bearing actually got throw when the car popped out of first gear on one run and the car overrevved. ever since that run, the car didnt run right...

Congrats guys!!
Just bench racing here, but if you could have duplicated that 1.575 60' instead of the 1.612 on that 11.036 pass, then that would have been a 10 second slip for sure!!
Simply amazing on the stock longblock!!
Congrats again!!

thanks mike, when we leaned it out a bit and barely increase the timing, car still trapped 122.xx with a good 60 foot so we know on the last run, it would have been good for a solid 10 second pass...

now its time for the new shop greddy stock block tt G35!!! push some more boundaries for sure...
