I believe it's set to mids or whatever the middle one is. The high setting is too rich

WHere did you get the focals and how much if you don't mind?

How does the midbass compare between the infinitys and the focals. I was going to get a set of the polykevlar 165k's but ended up with the perfects because i ended up getting a good price on them. Did I miss out on much?

A good friend of mine works at this place called dynamic audio. I didn't pay the full retail price. They run anywhere from $700-800 depeding on where you go.

Initially I went with the infinities because of the price as well. When I first heard them it was in the store sound booth and the focals sounded better but not enough to warrent the price difference. A few months later my friend gave me a real good deal but I still wasn't sure. He installed the focals on one door and left the infinities on the other - Once in the car the difference is incredible. The biggest difference is in the tweeters. The clarity in the focals compared to the infinities is amazing. I'm not going overboard by saying that it sounds as if the artist is singing infront of you. We put in Alicia Keys so we could hear good acapela and it was incredible. The midbass is crisper because the drivers can handle more power and they seem to be made sterdier. There is a little difference, not amazing like in the tweets. I believe the crossovers are made muich better as well in the focals. Don't get me wrong. The infinities are real good speakers and I would recomend them to anyone. But if you can afford focals, I say go for it, it's worth it.
