Default IPod Integration: NEO ProLink PODNISV2

Has anybody used this product? I was about to buy the USA Spec PA11-NIS then ran across this one.

Website is here:
http://www.neocaraudio.com/product_i...oducts_id=1064

It sounds like it has the same functionality of the PA11, but says you don't have to create special playlists. (Is this the same as the PA11's "direct" mode?)

Thanks.

It should, the plug is just like the Apple universal dock which works for both Ipods, Itouch and Iphone.

Alert, alert, alert! This "NEO" item is just a re-branded USA-spec. I know this for sure because I bought the dumb thing.
They showed a photo on their website that looked different, but lo-and-behold, when I got it, it was the USA spec. I actually had to go to the USA Spec website to get the full operational instructions.
Of course I only paid $50 more than the USA Spec item.

I also found this today and it sounds pretty good. The seller has extremely good feedback, so I think even if it didn't work, then you'd be OK.

I just ordered a PA11-NIS from Crutchfield.com today. I'll keep y'all posted on my experience with it when it arrives.

I tried to get the Alpine EX-10 installed today, but the shop technicians couldn't find the AUX option on my Non-Bose factory HU. Let me know if y'all have any thoughts on this. I've heard you can tap the CD button twice or the Radio button 3 times? i dunno...

I have the PA11-NIS connected to my Bose 6 CD indash unit and it works fine. The only issue I have is that the volume level of the iPod is lower than the stock HU. So I bought another unit that plugs into the PA11-NIS that allows me to adjust the volume of the iPod input so that it matches the stock HU volume. It works OK but when I turn up the volume (20-22 on the HU) I hear a moderate hiss between songs . Kinda annoying. Still waiting for the perfect iPod interface. Maybe I'll just build a CarPC and be done with it
